Tendencias en investigación sobre creatividad universitaria

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar la producción científica sobre creatividad en la educación superior a nivel global, mediante una revisión sistemática con enfoque bibliométrico. En el contexto universitario, la creatividad se reconoce como una competencia clave para afrontar los desafíos complejos del siglo XXI, integrando pensamiento divergente, innovación pedagógica y habilidades transversales. La revisión se basó en la base de datos Scopus, abarcando el periodo 2015–2024 e incluyendo un total de 2.258 documentos científicos. El análisis se realizó con las herramientas VOSviewer y Bibliometrix, y permitió examinar múltiples dimensiones de la producción académica: tipos de documentos, evolución anual de publicaciones, países con mayor volumen, autores más citados, revistas de alto impacto y agencias financiadoras. Los resultados evidencian una tendencia creciente en la investigación sobre creatividad en la educación superior, con concentración geográfica en países como Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, España y China, así como una fuerte presencia editorial en revistas como Thinking Skills and Creativity y Frontiers in Psychology. Asimismo, el análisis de palabras clave y coocurrencias permitió identificar siete clústeres temáticos que configuran un campo interdisciplinar en expansión, articulado en torno a enfoques pedagógicos, psicológicos, tecnológicos y artísticos. En conclusión, la creatividad ha dejado de ser una línea marginal para consolidarse como un eje estratégico de transformación curricular, aunque persisten desafíos vinculados a la concentración editorial, la equidad geopolítica y la necesidad de ampliar la colaboración científica internacional.
