This publication is the product of an effort to articulate, in a common space, research results and theoretical approaches on the problem of sound and auditory in the studies of communication that usually live in relatively separate spaces. It is not a matter of claiming a theoretically and methodologically eclectic point of view, but, on the contrary, contributing to the construction of a field which we consider to be centrally common.
