The COVID-19 pandemic created enormous challenges for both students and teachers, from initial to higher education. In a few days it was necessary to go from in-person educational presence to a total virtuality of classes, which led to the development of emergency practices. The teachers, professors and administrators did everything possible –and even more– to be able to provide continuity to the learning processes. Looking at 2020, in 2021, we face endless questions: What competencies and skills should students acquire in the current context? What is the role of the teacher? What role does technology have? What are the policies to promote so that those who left the classrooms in 2020 rejoin?
