Propriedades de agência de doutorandos em processos de pesquisa durante a pandemia da COVID-19

A complexidade da formação doutoral exige a articulação de diferentes aspectos pessoais e contextuais. Neste processo, o desenvolvimento da agência estudantil assume especial relevância, particularmente em situações disruptivas que afetam diversas áreas da vida, como a acadêmica e a pessoal. O objetivo principal deste estudo foi analisar as propriedades da agência dos doutorandos no desenvolvimento de estratégias para abordar a leitura e a escrita acadêmicas e a aprendizagem e o aproveitamento do processo de pesquisa na contingência sanitária da COVID-19. Utilizando uma abordagem qualitativa, foram selecionados 26 estudantes de diferentes programas de doutorado de uma universidade mexicana, que demonstraram implementar estratégias com senso de agência para o desenvolvimento de suas pesquisas de doutorado. A análise das informações obtidas foi realizada por meio da teoria fundamentada. No que diz respeito à leitura, escrita, aprendizagem e otimização do trabalho de pesquisa, os resultados revelam que os processos de agência dos doutorandos concretizaram-se em estratégias centradas na gestão do conhecimento e da informação, no gerenciamento do espaço e do tempo e na interação com o diretor da tese. O texto aborda esses processos, bem como a relevância de promover o desenvolvimento da agência de programas de doutorado a partir de uma formação integral (acadêmica, pessoal, ética, entre outras) que permite enfrentar os desafios dos cenários atuais e futuros.
