Identifying the set of dynamics that operate the Argentine audiovisual sector as a result of technological development, but also political regulatory and economic, is a task that in the proposed route gave birth to the notion of expanded audiovisual space, which frames a market that was originally divided by support and production cycles in continuous audiovisual (radio and tv) and discontinuous (film and video) forms. The article offers a description of the drifts of the sector in Argentina during the management of Cambiemos, a political alliance that governed the country between 2015 and 2019. Then, the existing offer is systematized with which the market seeks to adapt to the new possibilities –or business models– and the new consumer situations of the audiences. The text includes an analysis of communication policy studies accompanied by an analytical description of the relationship between supply and demand as the first step to a pending study: the political economy of the expanded audiovisual space in Argentina.
